From M1
At Junction 28 of the MI leave the motorway, taking the A38 towards
Mansfield. Continue on
the A38 driving straight on at a series of roundabouts and crossroads.
You will come to a
major junction with the A6075 at this point turn right taking the A38
towards Mansfield.
Through a series of crossroads, the A38 reaches a T-junction (traffic
lights) in Mansfield, turn
right. At the next set of traffic lights turn left. Follow the road
straight across at the first set of
lights (middle lane) ensure that you move over to the right hand lane
to turn right at the next
set of traffic lights which are signposted A617 Newark. Follow the A617
out of Mansfield
through several crossroads and roundabouts and after passing through
and out of Kirklington
village take the next turn left signposted Winkburn/Maplebeck. Winkburn
village is
approximately 1 mile at the top of the lane. Reaching the village turn
right by the Burnell Arms,
bear left round the next corner and Home Farm Barn is on your left,
follow the driveway to the
rear of the building to reach the car park.
From A1
Leave at the junction with the A46 signposted Newark, follow this
westerly around Newark to
the next roundabout and take the A617 signposted Mansfield. After
passing through Hockerton
village take the next turn right signposted Winkburn/Maplebeck. On
reaching Winkburn follow
the instructions above.
By Train – Newark Northgate
If arriving by train arrangements will be made to collect you where
possible.
By Air – East Midlands airport
Take the A453 to the M1 North. Leave the M1 at Junction 28 and then
follow the
instructions above.
