It is with great pleasure that I would like to introduce the new Polly Products catalogue to you. You will have noticed a number of changes most notably the inclusion of the Funnell Rug Range and the Funnell Equine & Leather Care Range.

The catalogue is wide ranging and we have sought to continue to provide the best of the previous Royston catalogue that will now be offered under Polly Products. We have added a number of new ranges and we are delighted that the Funnells have agreed to work with us on them.

The rug collection is key to this. The historic range has been well put together and offers a high quality product at good value for money. In light of this we have continued with a number of the same lines and have concentrated on a core offering that those of you that have stocked the range in the past will be familiar with.

You will have noticed that we have discontinued a number of the clothing lines; we felt that these lines were outside the scope of our expertise and we thought it better to concentrate on our strengths in the provision of horse wear and stable items.

I would like to take this opportunity to also give you a preview of the new ranges for this year;

Performance Leather Range

You maybe aware that we are also involved with T Frost, which is a horse racing saddler and provider of racewear with a history reaching back over 200 years. We have for the first time introduced a number of T Frost lines into the catalogue. With the performance leather range we can now provide a range of everyday leatherwork to run along side our T Frost racing leather range. This range has been put together in conjunction with our existing leather suppliers and offers a high quality, well-made set of products designed for everyday use at affordable prices.

The Funnell Equine & Leather Care Range

This is a brand new range covering; Hoof, Leg & Muscle, Veterinary, Shampoo & Coat, and Leather Care.

These ranges have been put together in conjunction with the Funnells and concentrate on natural remedies and applications that can be used by competition horses and horses running under rules. We have been working closely with the manufacturer and have developed a collection of products that fulfil the daily requirements of a working yard. The products are well proven and concentrate on natural ingredients that are effective in their stated aims; Aloe Vera, Witch Hazel, Tea Tree Oil, Arnica, Rosemary and Lavender Oil being amongst them. The ranges are competitively priced and offer a competitive alternative to existing products in the market.

T Frost Race Leather Range

As mentioned previously, T Frost is a horseracing saddler and has in the past been saddler to the Royal Household and the War Office. The company has an outstanding reputation for high quality leatherwork and we are delighted to be able to offer the ranges to our trade customers for the first time. Some of you may have racing customers some not. The bridlework has been specifically designed for race work and may not be suitable for general use, however a number of the additional leather items will be. We have also added the T Frost race saddles, which include race, and race exercise saddles.

T Frost Technics

The Technics range focuses on performance clothing designed for, but not restricted to, racing yards. The range includes riding out jackets and trousers, which are comfortable and practical, thereby offering complete protection for the rider during riding out. Additional items include; the Vapour Tech top with is made from a performance fabric used by mountaineers. This fabric allows wicking during exercise but is designed to hold heat during colder periods, thereby providing an undergarment that can be used whilst riding. And finally the Sure Grip race glove, which has an Aqua-suede palm with integrated rubber to create extra grip even under wet conditions.

Overall

These new ranges will run along side the existing offering that you will be familiar with. The new catalogue will provide a complete reference point for all products that we currently offer under Polly Products, The Funnell ranges and T Frost. In addition to this we have agreed distribution for the Lister Clipper and Fly Away product ranges.

We would like to thank those of you that have supported us to date. We believe that we are now in a position to provide a comprehensive offering and that the inclusion of the new ranges have brought us closer to fulfilling our ambitions of becoming a wholesaler of note. This coupled with an efficient customer service, we believe, puts us in a good position within the market and I hope an attractive offering for you and your customers.

Polly Products appoints new sales manager

It is with great pleasure that I welcome Hannah Westropp to our team, our new sales manager for Polly Products.

Hannah has a background rooted in equestrian pursuits. She is a successful event rider having competed upto advanced standard. She currently holds the chairmanship for the British Universities and Sports Equestrian division and is involved with the organising, fund raising and running of the annual National Championships.

She is also a fully qualified law graduate and brings with her a wealth of equestrian knowledge.

We are delighted that she has accepted the position and believe that she is well suited to the role and will help us bring Polly Products upto the next level. We will be contacting customers in due course with updates on the recent Tagg acquisition and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your support to date.
